Polyurethane rigid foam (SPF) is a kind of polymer synthetic material with countless tiny closed cell structure. It is a new type of material that integrates waterproof, thermal insulation. Under the action of various additives such as modifiers, foaming agents, catalysts, flame retardants, foam stabilizers, and anti-aging agents, they are uniformly mixed by special equipment, thermal reactions occur in a certain state, and instant atomization. Produces a rigid foam compound with a closed porosity of not less than 95%, which has ideal impermeability and good water vapor permeability resistance. It is widely used in the roofing of large buildings such as high-rise houses, hotels, cold storage, warehouses and so on. Its main features are shown below.

1.1 Reliable waterproof function Polyurethane rigid foam has a continuous and dense skin and a high-strength honeycomb structure with interconnected walls of more than 95%. It has ideal impermeability and good water vapor permeability resistance, and the water absorption rate is ≤1%. Using on-site direct spraying technology, a complete continuous impervious layer can be formed on the roof of the building, which fundamentally eliminates the possibility of water infiltration along the gap. In addition, it is firmly bonded to the base layer, and its bonding strength can exceed the tear strength of the foam itself, and will not be detached from the base layer, avoiding water leakage along the layer.

1.2 High thermal insulation and energy saving efficiency Polyurethane rigid foam is a dense, closed, non-connected pore. The rigid foam micropores are closed with a foaming agent gas with extremely low thermal conductivity, which has almost no effect of convection, so the thermal conductivity is less than 0.022 W / (m • k), far lower than traditional thermal insulation materials, with good thermal insulation performance and obvious energy saving effect.

1.3 Strong bonding performance This material has excellent bonding performance. It has strong bonding strength to concrete, metal, masonry, wood, glass, fiber and other substrates. The bonding strength should be ≥100kPa. The bond strength of stone can be as high as 240kPa, and it has strong wind resistance as a waterproof and thermal insulation layer on the roof.

1.4 Strong chemical resistance Polyurethane rigid foam has good chemical stability under the environment of benzene, gasoline and other general solvents and dilute concentrations of acids, alkalis, salt solutions, etc., and will not cause mildew and decay.

1.5 Strength depends on its raw materials, formula, density, structure and molding process. When other factors are relatively constant, density determines strength. When SPF rigid foam density is> 55㎏ / m3, its compressive strength can be ≥300kPa. The tensile strength can be ≥500kPa and has good impact resistance.

1.6 High-quality environmental protection product SPF foam has no volatilization of harmful substances during use, does not pose pollution to the surrounding environment, has stable chemical properties, has good corrosion resistance, does not decompose and does not mold.

1.7 Good temperature resistance and fire resistance SPF foam has a volume shrinkage of less than 1% at a low temperature of -50 ° C, and it will not become brittle and crack. At 120 ° C, there is no significant change in volume and strength; At higher temperatures of 150 ° C, the polymer does not degrade, so it can be used at high temperatures. It does not melt and drip like the EPS or XPS materials, and during the combustion process, the rigid foam polyurethane material will form a coking protective layer to inhibit the spread of combustion.

1.8 High elongation at break After the spray-treated polyurethane rigid foam has been modified, the elongation is as high as 13% or more, which successfully overcomes the breakage of the waterproof insulation layer caused by uneven settlement of the foundation and changes in environmental temperature.

1.9 Easy construction, short construction period SPF foam waterproof insulation layer can be sprayed on-site, easy to operate, one-time molding, fast construction; material curing speed is fast, 20 minutes after spraying can be used, simplifying the overall construction process and shortening the construction period.
